May they forever Rest In Peace

Dear Members,

It with great sadness that I advise Branch members of the passing of Foundation Member John (Jack) Robert CARTER who was 90 years of age.

I am advised by his dear wife Jan that Jack passed away on the morning of Friday the 15th March, whilst he and Jan were partaking of breakfast – an outcome which was both seemingly instantaneous and – without any apparent suffering.

Jack was a Foundation Member of the Gold Coast Branch ( RPA ) and as such was one of those many – who both visualised and sought – the establishment of a Retired Police Association of NSW branch on the Gold Coast of Queensland, and to whom we – and indeed ‘all Branch members’ – truly owe a great debt.

Jack’s funeral will take place on Wednesday next the 20th March at the Mount Gravatt Crematorium, Chapel & Memorial Gardens:  582 Mains Road, Mount Gravatt, Queensland 4122.  Telephone (07) 3349-5033

Rest in Peace Jack.

Malcolm W. Cox

Chairman
